GSFIC HOLDS A SPECIALIZED JOB STRATEGICS BRIEFING SESSION TO HELP FOREIGN-INVESTED COMPANIES FIND OUTSTANDING TALENTS

  • THE VIVID VOICES ON THE SCENE OF LABOR WERE DELIVERED TO 1,500 JOB SEEKERS THIS YEAR

GSFIC provided " employment counseling" for the talented people in the nationwide area such as Gyeonggi ,Gyeongin, Kangwon, Choongcheong, and etc. through paying-a-visit-to specialized job strategics session and interviewed about 1,500 outstanding and competitive talents this year.

Also, GSFIC actively promoted foreign-invested companies and gave "hot tips" for getting a job to prevent job seekers from having difficulties finding jobs due to lack of information about the businesses.


Starting this year, specially, the scope of employment has been expanded to "high school graduates". So, GSFIC is trying to make it possible for foreign-invested companies to find talents in more diverse jobs. Besides, GSFIC has helped high school students grow as talents needed by businesses by conducting job mentoring training several times through MOU with Suwon Information Science High School in the first half of the year.

And GSFIC carried out practical training including the safety education of manufacturing facility for the 2nd-and 3rd-grade students in "chemical engineering" of Samil and Ansan Technical High Schools in cooperation with French chemical company, Air Liquide Korea. A corporate practitioner, who brought his own equipment, provided hands-on opportunity and explained real cases to the participating students, and the schools and students concerned praised it as a valuable time to gain vivid industrial knowledge and information. The students, through this training, gained a deeper understanding of Air Liquide's work and the positive attitude towards the company rose. EDUCATION SEMINAR Consequently, there were many preliminary applicants who would apply to the company, Air Liquide.

The men, who are good at handling practical business details, began to deliver Resources managers to identify job trends and find competitive talents.


Online Recruitment Worksharp(#) is also expected to be more enriched and diverse for the foreign-invested companies in Gyeonggi-province. Online Recruitment Worksharp, where the companies' job openings can be posted and which shows, in detail, corporate introduction and review, industries-related issues, and etc., is to provide publicity effect to the businesses and job-related materials available to the job seekers to gradually reduce mismatching. GSFIC plans to provide a full range of support to ensure that talents found through this job briefing session are connected to actual employment, based on more enriched materials.
