“Any executive and staff of SMEs can tour model smart factories”

The Ministry of Small and Medium Venture Business announced that any businessman of SMEs, who wants to introduce " smart factory" or is considering level advancement, can tour model smart factories after applying on the homepage.

The advantage is that the tour smart factory is built like a model house in the factory for benchmarking.

The Ministry of Small and Medium Venture Business conducted the first model smart factory tour event to the Jinhap Corporation in October. The Jinhap Corporation , which carried out a model project supported by the ministry of Small and Medium Venture Business, constructed the best "smart factory(level 4)". And the company was selected as the first pilot factory tour due to the improvement of corporate competitiveness such as 20.5% increase in productivity, 50% reduction in defective rate and increase in employment (from 518 in 2017 to 605 in 2019).

This year, 13 SMEs supported in 2018 opened to any executive and employee who would like to tour and the smart factory tour in various industries is available because a total of 51 model factories is to open in the second of next year. And, also, there will be a program for the students of Meister and Specialized High schools to learn in the near future.
