CSR GOOD COMPANY REPORT NO.52 The members of GFCRC have a good time with the angels of Jacob’s house!
GFCRC(Gyeonggi Foreign-invested Corporate Responsibility Center) matches for the businesses places that need a helping hand in the community and also provides a variety of activities for CSR.
The staff of GFCRC volunteered, in May, at a children’s welfare facility, Jacob’s House located in Pyeongtaek-city. From early morning, they moved their footsteps to Jacob’s House and began volunteering, delivering children’s necessities and snacks which they prepared.
The Jacob’s House is a children’s welfare facility, for protecting and raising 6-to-36-month-old infants, which gives warm touch to children who need parental care and cares about their broken heart. The GFCRC members spent a lot of fun and good time with children taking care of infants, playing with children, reading books, educating them about kidnapping, and etc.. And they also worked on environmental cleanup activities such as tree planting, pruning, cleaning in-and-out side of facility, and etc. to help children grow in a safe and pleasant environment.
The Jacob’s House concerned said that “we were much worried because some childcare teachers were vacant for children to get a medical examination due to a cold at a hospital, but it was a great help to us for the volunteers to, fortunately, fill in the vacancies of teachers and to, despite the early heat, do their best to serve for a day. We once again thank them for their service.“ The GFCRE concerned said that “it was hard to serve without a break, but a rewarding day to be a little help for children to grow up safe and happy. And we hope that children will grow healthy and become the future of our country and the world.“ We, GFCRC, will faithfully carry out our role as a pioneer in the culture of mutual existence and sharing through many activities in the future.
