The construction of the World’s Largest Artificial Surfing Wave Park started in Siheung-city, Gyeonggi-province.

• The construction of 166.613㎡-sized World’s Largest Artificial Surfing Park started, on May,2nd, on the Geobukseom(turtle island) in Siwha MTV located in Siheung-city, Gyeonggi-province. About 500 guests including Lee Jaemyeong, Gyeonggi governor, Moon Seonghyeok, minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, and etc., attended this day’s ground-breaking ceremony.
• The artificial surfing park, which is to be opened in June,2020, will be built as a world-class experiential and residential tourist destination by making step-by-step hotel and commercial facilities and by combining with Siwha Lake’s excellent tourism resources.
• The national teams of each country are expected to perform surfing training before the Tokyo Olympic Games, in which surfing is adopted as a sporting event.

The Gyeonggi Local Government sends an investment promotion working group to North America!

• The Gyeonggi Working Group visited the advanced manufacturers, located in Chicago and Toronto, such as semiconductor components and materials, fuel cell, and etc., engaged in investment attraction activities for a week from April,29th,2019.
• The Gyeonggi Working Group explained “excellent business environment and incentives for the foreign investment“ to the potential investment companies and negotiated a corporate specific plan for investment.
• The Gyeonggi Local Government will continue to implement the business-specific follow-up measures such as finding and connecting companies ,that can collaborate, in Gyeonggi-province, based on the contents discussed in this investment consultation.
